ST. PETERSBURG, FL (WFLA) — The Coast Guard on Tuesday morning found two boaters who went missing off Florida’s Gulf Coast over the weekend.

Officials say that Michael Forehand, who is in his 30s, and Lisa Harris, 48, were found uninjured. The pair was aboard a 39-foot boat when they became lost over the weekend somewhere between Charlotte Harbor and Carrabelle and never returned as expected by Sunday night. Cell phone pings on Saturday showed they were about 10 miles west of Indian Rocks Beach.

A C-130 Hercules aircraft crew from Air Station Clearwater and the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Hawk from St. Petersburg searched for the pair on Tuesday morning and found them at about 7:35 a.m.. Forehand and Harris were discovered 42 miles west of the Homosassa River.
