TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — We can’t do a series on fun things for families to do for under $108 this summer without mentioning the Glazer’s Children Museum. The museum is celebrating its 5th birthday by giving customers Buy One Get One Free admission Monday through Friday until Sept 30. Jacqueline Horne, a first grade teacher, loves taking her students to the museum.
“The museum is an excellent location for a field trip,” Horne said. “My students can come here, run around and have a blast and learn a lot.”
Kids, like 4-year-old Victoria, love the temporary Wizard of Oz exhibit. It’s only around until Sept. 13 and will take you back to one of your favorite movies. Children, and adults, can explore the yellow brick road, work on the farm, and meet the famous characters. “I like the witch’s house best,” Victoria said.
The Glazer Children’s Museum promises fun for everyone with 170 exhibits, including shopping at Publix, examining x-rays as a veterinarian, and climbing the tree tops. Mom, Ashley Polk, appreciates not only the fun but the deals. “When you’re a stay at home mom you have to budget,” Polk said. “Finding the best deals is so important to do.”
