MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — All eyes are on Marco Rubio’s camp on Florida primary night.
The Marco Rubio campaign will be watching election results come in at an event that begins at 7 p.m. at Florida International University in Miami.
If Rubio were to win the primary in his home state, he would pick up 99 of more than 300 delegates needed to catch up with frontrunner, Donald Trump. But, if the polls are correct, the chances of Rubio winning in Florida are unlikely.
Donald Trump is leading Rubio in all Florida polls. One poll shows the Florida Senator in third place. “That poll is absurd and we will find out, you will see tomorrow. I’m not worried about any of that. That’s ridiculous. Those are ridiculous numbers that’s not the way it is,” Rubio told News Channel 8 on Monday.
Many people are watching to see what Rubio will do if he were to lose Florida tonight. Will he stay in the race for the White House or will he pull out?
Rubio’s event is called “Election Night Celebration”.Donald Trump will watch election results in Palm Beach.Hillary Clinton will be in West Palm Beach County.
Stay with WFLA News Channel 8 throughout election night. Well be bringing you live reaction as voting results come in.
