TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Today was gorgeous! We topped out in the upper 70s and low 80s, despite some high clouds streaming in from the Gulf. The evening will be quite lovely, cooling comfortably down through the 70s and into the 50s and 60s overnight.

Tomorrow will be nice and warm again, despite the increasing high clouds. We will top out around 80° and stay dry. It may stay just a little cooler near the coast because of the sea breeze that forms off the Gulf of Mexico.

A weak cold front arrives Thursday, but it stalls across the state and never brings any cooler air. We only expect a couple of showers with this front before it lifts back to the north.

Another front swings across the state this weekend, and it should generate a few more showers. It won’t be a wash-out of a weekend, but scattered downpours are possible Saturday and Sunday.

Highs remain in the upper 70s to low 80s into next week.
