TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Much of Tampa Bay was under a tornado warning Tuesday as a line of storms moved over the area.
Storms moved into Hillsborough, Pinellas and Polk counties Tuesday afternoon, and were south of I-4 into Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee and Highlands counties later in the afternoon. The rain is expected to taper off Tuesday evening.
