(CNN) — Concerns over possible listeria contamination have prompted a voluntary recall of products with sunflower seeds. Some products made by Planters, Sunrich Naturals, and Papa John’s salads and produce are included in the recall.
The possibly-affected sunflower seeds were produced by Minnesota-based company SunOpta. The voluntary recall covers two dozen states, including Florida, and may be redistributed to other states nationwide.
No illnesses have yet been directly tied to the products.
Planters and Sunrich Naturals sunflower kernels made between February 1st and April 21st are in the recall.
Also, Papa John’s oriental salad with sesame ginger dressing, with sell-by dates of May 18th through May 25th.
The FDA urges customers who bought these products to throw them away, or return them to the store for a refund.
