Tampa martial arts coach charged with having sexual contact with child

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A Hillsborough County martial arts coach is accused of having sexual contact with a child.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said Nelson Ivan Del Valle-Nazario “had sexual contact with a female victim on multiple occasions” between March 1, 2015 and Sept. 4, 2016. The victim was between 12 and 13 during that time period.

Del Valle-Nazario was the victim’s mixed martial arts coach. The offenses occurred in both the martial arts gym, Undisputed Fitness & Martial Arts, and at the suspect’s residence, investigators said.

Investigators said Del Valle-Nazario admitted to the sexual contact with the child.

The gym is located at 1412 W. Waters Ave. in Tampa.

Del Valle-Nazario bonded out of jail Thursday evening.
