PLANO, TX (WCMH) – Frito Lay is recalling thousands of bags of Rold Gold pretzels because they may contain peanuts not listed on the labels.

Frito-Lay says the problem is due to certain lots of flour it uses to make the pretzels. That flour was possibly contaminated with peanut residue, according to a FDA release.

The affected Rold Gold packages were sold in retail stores nationwide. They have a “guaranteed fresh” dates ranging from June 28, 2016 – August 23, 2016 on the front of the package. They also contain a 9-digit manufacturing code that includes the numbers “32” in the second and third position (example: x32xxxxxx).

There have not been any illnesses reported. Consumers wishing to return the product can do so at the retailer where they purchased them for a full refund. You can also contact Frito-Lay online at www.pretzelrecall.com.A full list of affected products is below:
