TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A portion of Davis Islands bridges from DeLeon Street to Adalia Avenue will be closed starting on Sunday, July 10th for maintenance work.
One lane on the southbound and northbound Davis Islands bridges will be temporarily closed at night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day, to pressure wash the barrier walls on both bridges. The work is scheduled to be completed over seven consecutive nights, excluding Friday and Saturday and is scheduled to be completed by the morning of Tuesday, July 19.
The following Davis Islands on-ramp and off-ramps will be closed to do the work: Bayshore Blvd. / Davis Islands northbound on-ramp; Davis Islands Tampa General Hospital southbound off-ramp; Davis Islands / Bayshore Blvd. northbound off-ramp. Traffic will be detoured.
