WAWARSING, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a woman is accused of leaving her two babies in the car, with the windows down, while she shopped at Walmart.
According to police, they arrested 25-year-old Semaji Crawford of Flushing, NY for two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Police say they got a call for two babies left unattended in a vehicle in the Napanoch Walmart parking lot.
The investigation revealed that Crawford left her two children, ages 8 months old and 1 year old in her vehicle unattended with the windows down and the vehicle running while she was shopping at the Walmart store for approximately seven minutes.
Crawford was arrested and processed. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Wawarsing Court.
