BRANDON, Fla. (WLFA) — Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene of a death investigation on East Camellia Avenue in the Brandon area.
Dispatchers received a 911 call around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. When deputies arrived at the home, they found a person dead inside, a sheriff’s spokesman tells News Channel 8.
Detectives are finishing a search warrant before they re-enter the home, the spokesman said. The investigation could take several hours. They’re also interviewing people at the scene.
Investigators note that they’re not looking for any suspects at the time.
Part of East Camellia Avenue is blocked off as deputies work the scene. Yellow crime scene tape surrounds the home.
