ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — Police in Orlando reopened part of Interstate 4 eastbound in Orange County after it was shut down for about 12 hours Friday for a death investigation.
The Orlando Police Department said it received several call about a body getting hit by vehicles at I-4 East and Orange Blossom Trail late Thursday night, WESH reported.
Officers found a crashed car and the body of Teqilla L. Shepherd, 39, on the highway off-ramp.
“At this time, we have more questions than answers. Detectives are working to determine what led to this incident and the death of this individual,” Orlando police wrote in a release.
