CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – You never know who you’ll run into at the mall.
People who happened to be at Clearwater’s Westfield Countryside Mall on Thursday were in for a big treat when they saw actor John Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, skating at the ice rink inside the mall.
Travolta and his wife were skating with a boy who appeared to be their youngest child, Benjamin. The couple held hands with the boy as they glided on the ice rink, which is located at the center of the mall.
As soon as people recognized the trio, they started pulling out cameras and snapping photos. Travolta posed for selfies with his fans.
It’s no secret that actor John Travolta and his family often visit the Clearwater area.
Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, have a home in Ocala and are members of the Church of Scientology, which is headquartered in Clearwater.
The Academy Award winning actor appeared in ‘Staying Alive’ and ‘Grease’ and is known for his dance moves. His visit to Westfield Countryside Mall proved he can hold his own on the ice, too, although he did not appear to make any fancy dance moves in the photos we saw.Learn more about John Travolta here.
