WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. (WFLA) – A brother and sister were arrested in connection with a string of car burglaries in the Wesley Chapel area.

Luis Rosado and his sister, Nicole Johnson, were wanted for at least five car burglaries, according to officials.

On November 2,  several people in the Lake Front Drive area reported their cards have been burglarized. In at least one case, a homeowner reported one of their cars had been broken into and another car stolen. Not far down the road, another homeowner reported they had two cars that have been burglarized.

Officials said the suspects, now identified as Rosado and Johnson, used the victim’s credit cards at two gas stations and a McDonald’s.

Investigators were able to locate the suspects inside one of the stolen vehicles in Osceola County.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said the brother and sister car-theft team were the same culprits of a recent string of auto burglaries in Seven Oaks. In that case, they were driving a white charger. Officials were able to recover a number of stolen items inside the car in that case, as well.
