Nicole Rogers is a Wesley Chapel native now serving as a reporter at WFLA News Channel 8.
She comes to WFLA from our sister station WBRE/WYOU in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She worked as their morning reporter who often filled in on the anchor desk and as a forecaster.
Before moving to Pennsylvania, she worked at WCJB TV20 in Gainesville, FL. She was an MMJ who covered a wide variety of stories ranging from plane crashes to a man finding a half-brother he never knew he had.
She started it all in radio. She anchored, produced and reported for her local NPR-affiliated station, winning two national awards.
She is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. During her time at UF, she was an MMJ and anchor for the school’s 5 p.m. newscast.
When she is not out on a story, you can find her whipping up something in the kitchen, as she is of proud Italian descent.
