PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A high school in Hudson was placed on lockdown briefly Wednesday morning after school officials learned that a student may have brought a gun to school.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office reported that Fivay High School was placed on lockdown as a precaution after receiving information about a possible gun at the school.
A school resource officer identified the student and discovered that he had a BB gun in his possession.
The sheriff’s office took the BB gun and the lockdown was lifted.
No other details have been released.
