TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Police have opened a death investigation after a person’s body was found floating in the waters off the Courtney Campbell Causeway Monday morning.
The Tampa Police Department said officers found a male’s body floating on the south side of the causeway just after 6:30 a.m.
The circumstances surrounded the person’s death remain unclear. Police said an investigation is ongoing.
