A St. Pete hotel employee accused of stealing guests’ card information allegedly used it to purchase tickets for the hit Broadway musical “Hamilton,” police said.
According to an affidavit, Regina Ann Todaro, 56, worked at the Hilton Carillon Park Hotel, 950 Lake Carillon Dr., where she was able to access and steal the information of five people who stayed there as guests.
Police said Todaro used their credit card details to order tickets for “Les Miserables” and “Hamilton” shows at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa.
When the victims disputed the charges, police said the Straz Center suffered a financial loss totaling $1240.55.
Police said someone gave Todaro $1650 to purchase the tickets, but the money was never used.
Todaro was arrested Friday for fraudulent use of personal identification information and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
Further information was not immediately available.
