TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Today was our last day of low humidity from this stretch of crisp weather, we warmed up into the mid 80s under mostly sunny skies.
This evening will be mild and clear, with temperatures in the 70s for most of the night. We slip into the mid to upper 60s early Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will be breezy and warm, with increasing humidity and partly cloudy skies. Expect winds building our of the south between 15-20 mph and temperatures hitting near 90°.
Wednesday evening will be mild and breezy, with temperatures remaining in the 70s overnight under partly cloudy skies.
Thursday will be windy and warm, with winds sustained around 20 mpg and gusts closer to 30 mph out of the south. Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 80s.
Eventually a cold front pushes far enough south to increase our rain chances late in the afternoon on Thursday. . Once the rain starts late Thursday it stays with us for the next several days as a cold front lingers around.
We have a 60% rain chance Friday, 40% Saturday, and 50% Sunday. It won’t rain all day, but off and on downpours should be expected. It will still be warm when it’s not raining with highs in the mid 80s.
Some models dry us out late Sunday, but others keep a few showers around into Monday.
