TAMPA (WFLA) – A truck fire on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is blocking traffic and causing severe delays.
The fire occurred in the northbound lanes of the bridge near the top of the Skyway Bridge.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fire appears to be a result of a mechanical issue.
Troopers say no injuries have been reported and drivers are urged to use caution due to smoke and emergency personal on scene.
