TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Three people are dead — a man, a grandmother, and her 1-year-old grandson — following a shooting inside a South Florida Publix.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened at a Publix in Royal Palm Beach around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

“There is no known motive or relationship between the gunman and the victims,” PBSO spokeswoman Teri Barbera said in a news release Thursday night. “However, detectives are still investigating.”

The victims’ names will not being released because of Marsy’s Law, Barbera said.

The sheriff’s office said the shooter, 55-year-old Timothy Wall of Royal Palm Beach, killed himself.

Detectives from the PBSO Violent Crimes Division are investigating the shooting.

The Publix will remain closed until Saturday, Barbera said.

Customers will be able to retrieve their personal items in front of the Publix between 9 a.m. and noon Friday.

Publix spokeswoman Maria Brous released the following statement regarding the shooting:

“Our thoughts are with those who are impacted by this tragedy. We are cooperating with the local law enforcement. Since this is an active police investigation, we cannot confirm any additional details.”
