(WFLA) — Pier 1 is recalling 140,000 glass knobs in the U.S., as the knobs can break while in use, posing a risk of laceration to users from broken glass pieces.
The recall involves Pier 1 Imports glass knobs sold in seven colors in three collections: Basic, Kira and Facets. The knobs are commonly used for dressers, cabinets and small drawers.
They were sold nationwide and online from September 2011 through October 2016 for between $6 and $7.
Pier i Imports has received seven reports of injuries as a result of the glass knobs breaking during installation or while in use.
Consumers should stop using the knobs and can return them to any Pier 1 Imports store for a full refund or merchandise credit.
